So on Epstein, the Democratic position should be "Trump should resign." If you are a Democratic elected, practice saying "We demand the president's resignation" in front of a mirror as many times as it takes until the dry-heaving that comes from having a phobia about actually doing politics passes.

This is not petty. It’s powerful.

And all the consultants, with their communications platforms and funding funnels are so terrified of this they’re doing everything the can to lock people in, discourage defection, and punish dissent rather than lead the change we seek, just like their counterparts.
I spent the day unsubscribing from all Democratic aligned begging emails with a sharp note as to why. No money. None. Can't afford it.

A petty action, but momentarily satisfying.

Hey @bsky.app, why was Sarah Kendzior suspended?
If Sarah Kendzior is indeed blocked on @bsky.app, this is a completely unjustified and highly questionable move. Sarah Kendzior is among the best voices of knowledge-based critical journalism in the US. See to it that this is corrected immediately and with an apology, @pfrazee.com!

"If we fight united"

Motherfucker, we WERE united. We were supporting y'all despite the pain because we believed it was for a greater good. Y'all burnt all that support and goodwill to the ground, not because people were going hungry or unpaid, but because *flights were getting canceled*.

Dick Durbin's job title in the Senate is Minority Whip. His job is to literally "whip votes" to the party position. He is not just leadership, but literally the one person in the entire caucus whose role is to get people to not vote the way he did.

And Dems expect people to just "move on?"

My phone's new update has given me a new notification sound for low battery status.

It sounds like the opening notes of Gundam Style.

Every night I get this earworm.

Aaaargh!

Oof nostalgia! My Aunt Susan used to sing this every Christmas with my mum & Uncle Dave, after exhausting the Christmas carols, Ilkley Moor Bar Tat, a song about a wyrm, & Bobby's Girl. A good Northumberland family tradition.

I never really knew what that song was about till I moved to the Midwest.
I climbed into bed and Kevin waited until I was in, then tapped his phone and it began playing the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, and anyway, this is why I love him.

Given the choice between continuing to have a functioning ACA and the release of the Epstein files, I choose healthcare.

Maybe, maybe, the EFs would reveal enough details to impeach Trump on. Would they do it?

Meanwhile it's at least a full year of 20% more (and more) on healthcare.

The Dems in the Senate appear to have just folded a Royal Flush.

While Trump just pardoned Rudy and a casino’s worth of others involved in election perversion.

I just went through my emails and unsubscribed from every Democratic begging letter. In the optional "why are you leaving us" box I put:

I cannot afford to contribute $3 as I must now hoard every dollar towards the astronomical rise in ACA.

So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

In 2021 a single, Muslim, Bangladeshi young woman raised in Kensington got elected to the NY City Council in D39, the district that de Blasio and Lander had represented. Her name is Shahana Hanif and she won re-election in 2025 with a remarkable 70% of the vote against seriously funded opposition.

What if we just decided collectively not to use the dislike button?

Like what if we just liked the things we liked, and scrolled past or muted the things we didn’t like, the way we do now? If no one feeds the algorithm it won’t work, right?
What is this, Bluesky? I am here for the lack of algorithm! It had better not apply to my “following” feed.
“As users ‘dislike’ posts, the system will learn what sort of content they want to see less of. This will help to inform more than just how content is ranked in feeds, but also reply rankings.”

I've been to 8 of these, including the one I live in and the one I was a child in.

Really skewed list though. 3 each from CA and TX, but only 1 from the entirety of the Midwest!?! And Orlando is #1?!?

$170B for ICE and Border Patrol
$40B for Argentina
$1B to refurbish Trump's Qatar jet
$230M for Trump's DOJ "compensation"
$200M for Kristi Noem's jets
$98M for Trump's golf outings

But no money to lower your healthcare costs.

Notice how fast the billionaire stepped up to fund the military, but no one is stepping up to fund SNAP?

No one will step up to fight for a living wage, healthcare, disability supports or education.

They want to keep us down because it benefits them.

The billionaires will always stick together.
