Signed up for a beginner standup comedy class! I do prefer improv, clown and sketch as comedic storytelling vehicles, but I think developing some standup skills will only help me grow as an artist. 🙂

So Democrats joined with Republicans to pass a resolution condemning socialism right before a Trump-Mamdani meeting where they complimented each other and said "we want the same thing?" Did I get that right?

You’re going to see a lot of “principled” Republicans distance themselves from Trump over Epstein. Please remember two things:
A ). They were warned about Trump being a pedophile and liar, and they gleefully voted for him anyway despite his incessant bigotry;

Sometimes you gotta be honest instead of running from your problems. It doesn’t hurt any less, and it really fucking hurts, but you can’t heal if you keep running. That’s what I learned over the weekend. Not the getaway I wanted, but the one I needed.

I was invited to join the apprentice program at the improv theater I've been taking classes at and will start next week! It really feels like a milestone in my creative development and I can't wait to keep evolving my storytelling and performing abilities. 😃

Booked a tiny home in the Great Smokies for a one-day solitary writer's retreat in a couple weeks. Gonna hike a trail or two for inspiration, get a good bit of my script done, and enjoy some warm Japanese curry with root veggies. 🙂
