This is a really good read if you're interested in how NAT Traversal or firewalls work. Love the diagrams.

I was excited to try out Tailscale but I'm pretty disappointed you can only use it with SSO. Still gonna play with it, just a bit less excited

Doing some digital housekeeping this morning. Thinking of switching from Google Calendar to Proton Calendar, to see if it can keep up.

I've seen a lot of inspiring photography on here recently! It's tempting me to make another account for posting my photos. Maybe it could fill the void Instagram has left, because I have no interest in even opening that app anymore. Would love to have a place to share photos again.

I picked up Titan Quest 2 and I have to say, I'm really enjoying the slower pace compared to something like POE.

Went from wanting to write a run-once-in-a-while script to writing a (basic) task runner system in Gleam. You could say I'm distracted but writing Gleam can be a real joy 😅

I think I've developed an RSI in my arm/elbow from using a mouse at work 😕 I ordered a vertical ergo mouse that should come today. Hoping that helps

Wow, my first experience using Fiverr has been pretty bad.

Can anyone point me towards someone who does logo design work? Looking to get a logo made for a project I'm working on.

Signal boosting for anyone interested in the state of the games industry. Long but super fascinating.

Just played a few rounds of the bf6 open beta. It's so good. Definitely some issues but that was the most fun I've had playing a battlefield game in years

I've been thinking about the concept of 'Writing is Thinking' a lot recently. I'm entertaining the idea of starting a technical blog, to document some of the technical solutions I've developed for various projects.

I really want to like neovim but so far my experience has not been great. Mostly just LSP issues. I think I'm sticking with Zed in vim mode

I love nature documentaries but nothing prepares me for the emotional rollercoaster that is: oh wow that's a really cute animal....oh it got eaten

TIL: if you want to move changes from one git branch to another, you can use checkout and pass it the branch and file path 😯 Super handy for splitting PRs up.

Starting to feel all the work I've put into my current project over the last 6 months slowly starting to pay off. Feels good.

I'm a "web dev" and I see a lot of libraries aimed at "web dev" being described as good DX by people online. In my opinion, it's just complexity in a trench coat.

They are cool and useful but I also think that's what contributes to my fatigue with this stuff. Like death by a thousand cuts.
