While working on my next piece of my OC, Khleo, I got side tracked and ended up creating 8 images of sleeping female trainers from the Pokemon franchise.

Speaking of Pokemon, this here is my original character, Khleo, dressed as a Pokemon trainer!

I've been enjoying the new Pokemon Legends game.

The battle system is pretty different from other versions but all in all, between sharing a single copy between two people, it has been enjoyable.

I still got more art in the works that I'd like to show off in the near future though 😊

Anyways, apologies for not being the most active, it's been difficult to find the time or energy to do any art. I've stockpiled a bunch and hope to start posting more soon!

I've personally been quite obsessed with K-pop Demon Hunters, so much so that it inspired me to make my annual Halloween pfp to be directly inspired by it.

I likely won't be posting any art for a couple of weeks, but any progress is better than no progress! 😄

And as a change of pace, I'm thinking of posting images of some old characters of mine from a series I worked on for 10 years before I shifted gears to Ancestral Powers, known as Overseer.

So...
It has been a while since I last went onto social media, and even longer since I last picked up the pen.

Happy to say, I've finally picked it up the other day and started drawing again.

I still have mental burnout but I do feel as though I have started to recover for a while now.

Been mentally exhausted the last several weeks, which has led to me neglecting my art.

I tried increasing my meds a few days ago and I have noticed a difference, however, with things as it is now, I don't know if I'll really be able to get back into it quite yet.

He literally almost died in a massive forest fire that has claimed the lives of at least 2 people already.

How can she possibly think she has any right to do this.

It took hours before the cops came. My brother had left and after speaking to us, they spoke to her briefly before leaving and recommending that they stay away from each for the night.

As he got home, he was bombarded again by her. Shouting that he needed to get out of the house and go to a hotel.

My brother didn't feel safe as she continued to verbally harass us, so he called 911 and she went ballistic.

She immediately rushed him and started pounding him as she tried to forcely take his phone from, shouting "because he called, I can beat him all I want."

It took 3 of us to get her off him.

And when he asked to stopped screaming at him, she only got louder.

As for me, I rebuked her for even bothering to bring it up after everything he went through.

She got even nastier, accusing me of constantly threatening and bullying her for the last several weeks.

I truly believe my mother is incapable of comprehending her own actions.

After that whole ordeal my brother had to face, accepting death as everything was hopeless, she had to turn and start screaming at him about a fucking cooler.

About half an hout after they last spoke to first responders, they look up to the sky to see the glow of a red moon between the pumes of smoke.

It wasn't until then when they finally heard the beating buzz of a helicopter.

Amazingly, they managed to wave it down and get rescued.

They had long resigned themselves that place was going to be their grave.

Surrounded by flames and with only rags of a shirt soaked in lake water prevented them from suffocating from the smoke that blinded them.

Their only way of escape caught up in flame.

Update 2.0

My brother is home safe and sound, but honestly, he is truly lucky to even be alive.

After their boat flipped, the 3 waited on the shore of the lake for 6 hours before getting word that after searching and failing, they wouldn't be coming anymore until the next day.

They are at least all alive and fine, but not without a casualty 😰

It's not a lose of life, but they were camping on an island and needed 2 trips to carry all of their items. While on their first trip back, their boat flipped.

Sitting here, waiting to hear anything about my brother.

I'm worried about him. He went camping with a couple of friends, however last we heard of him was over 3 hours ago and he was at the edge of a large forest fire.

Hope to hear from him soon 🙏

They are now waiting to be rescued by plane and it won't be there for another 2 hours.

Although, the annoying part is, is that the families of his friends knew all of this while we were left in the dark for the last two hours.

They lost all of their belongings and the boat sank. Well mostly.

They were able to tie the boat to shore, even though it is flipped and have tried to selvage what they can.

They're sure that their vehicle on the other shore has been caught up in the fire as well.
