My take on the shutdown is that you should actually not finance a government that is currently refusing to seat one of your congresspeople and is likely to attempt a coup within a year, even if they give you everything you ask and beg for it in apologetic tones, which, note, they also haven't done.

Visited MONO SPACE in PDX today, a new hifi listening space/gallery. Some excellent selections from the inimitable #KMHD host Bryson Wallace on a formidable OJAS based system drawing heavily from historical Altec gear. A lot to like here, will be interesting to see how this evolves!

Everyone please diligently check your candy this year. I cracked open a snickers bar and not only did I find a copper ingot, but it was of poor quality.
Worse still, when my man Nanni confronted my neighbor about it, he was treated with disdain.
