The "Avataṃsaka Sūtra (Flower Garland Sutra)" says:

“Mind, Buddha, and all sentient beings—these three are no different from one another.”
(心佛及衆生是三無差別)

AND

The "Nirvāṇa Sūtra" states:

“All sentient beings without exception have Buddha-nature.”
(一切衆生悉有佛性)

This is what we must discover.
