🔥 NEW FIRE IN BOULDER: As of 3PM Friday, a small 1-2 acre grass fire has ignited on the southeast side of Boulder near point of Cherryvale Rd where it crosses over US-36.

Just saw the update that Rick George will be stepping down as AD at the end of the academic year.
I hope the next AD, in addition to pushing for success on the field/court, will remember and support the role of athletic bands in the University's presentation.

Sources: Jaguars star CB/WR Travis Hunter underwent season-ending knee surgery, with eyes set on 2026. It was an LCL repair.
He’s expected to return within 6 months to full football activities.

On the plus side, our defensive rebounding rate is still top-25 nationally. You just wouldn't know it because we CANT GET A STOP TO SAVE OUR LIVES.
Looking at some numbers.
CU is 334th nationally in defensive eFG. 338th in defensive 3p%.
The only regular rotation guy with a non-negative defensive bpm is Elijah, who is a Thanos-esque 0.0. In fact Elijah is the only player on the whole team who has notched a fraction of a defensive win share.

Offensively? Looks solid. Top-10 nationally in getting to the line. A TO rate nearly half of what it was a year ago, and a tempo over 2 seconds faster than we were a year ago.
