More heart than leg. Thank you for the great article!!!
If you could use a little brightness in your day, I recommend spending some time with sled dog MUPPY. I’m genuinely obsessed with her. She is an icon. She is a legend. Her legs are 4 inches long.
Meet Muppy, the World’s Smallest Sled Dog
Most sled dogs are huskies and pointers, but Muppy didn’t get the memo. With sheer determination and a whole lot of heart, this little dog is rewriting the rules of racing.

I did not. Wasnt sure if it was allowed in the race because of race rules.
Ran the 1 dog bike and the 1 dog scooter class! It was weird running with people that aren't in my family but we had clean runs and that's what counts. The human was support staff since she is on restricted activity.
Redpaws Dirty Dog Dryland Derby weekend!! The human brought pumpkins, and it's getting cold enough tonight that I am in bed with her for camping so neither of us freeze.
It is only available in Orange for now
I just got the answer it's only orange at this time
I just asked! I hope so, orange isn't the best color for the humans complexion
One of my friends is making fun mushing shirts but needs 10 preorders before they can move forward with it. The material is very soft and sizes seem to be a little on the larger size.
The human usually wears a medium but will be getting a small.

All registered for the Redpaw Dirty Dog Dryland Derby next weekend. Hopefully the human is feeling up to running in the 1 dog bikejoring class.
Family snuggles. All voluntary participants too!
Since human is out of commission with appendicitis, human husband competed in the 1 dog bikejoring class with me at a fun race this weekend. We did 1.4 miles in 6 min 57 seconds which is crazy for a dog with 4 inch legs.

favorite sport ever.
The human husband did the fun race with me today so that she could focus on not making her appendicitis worse. Fun was had by all!
If I have surgery now, I'm out for all of dryland season. At least by waiting, I can casually race on the courses I'm familiar with and know ain't overdo it
(human) I am on antibiotics for the next week to help bring down the inflammation on my angry appendix. I go in on 6 weeks for another CT scan to see if it's safer to operate at that point. Doc said I am still good to bike and live life and to listen to my body.
The human is very bummed that she's not able to go bikejoring while the trail colors at absolute peak color. She did find some nice plants in the yard waste drop off and that helped her feel better.
The crazy thing is that the abdominal pain was never consistently over a 4. There was random blips of worse pain but kind of thought it was just menstrual cramps or gas.
Both of those flavors should be illegal.
Usually I'm not a small white fluffy dog person, but your pup is absolutely adorable and I love him so much
The irony of it, I feel great now. It was just 2 weeks of misery and then my fever broke and almost immediately had relief
(human) Had a CT scan done. Left to get a celebratory burrito. Within 20 minutes, a doc called.

I have appendicitis. My body managed to seal off the infection/angry bits and it's why I'm feeling better. Waiting on a call to schedule to meet with the surgeon to discuss getting this bad boy removed.
This must have been a fancier kind. Had to drink it over the course of an hour consistently. Was raspberry flavored and not too bad
The human is at the hospital for a CT scan to see if they can find why she was having issues. She's feeling better!

We won't be at Byllesby but will be at the Dirty Dog Warm Up Race since it's closer to home in case she starts feeling rough again.

Photo of contrast juice the human had to drink.
We are not. Human was not feeling good when registration ended so she didn't sign up. We are going to the Dorty Dog Warm-Up race in Pearson WI. They had a later registration and the human was starting to feel better so she signed up. It's also closer to home if anything happens.
Between the hot weather and the human having a mystery illness, we've had a lazy 2 weeks except for the hike human's hubby took us on and we traumatized him.

Today's run - I am a rock star who knows exactly what I need to do and not distracted by much.

Journey... is just along for the ride
