The brain can only keep ~7 things in working memory. That shaped how we designed RYFT: every system had to respect that limit, so the experience works the way an audio-based adventure game should — kept in your head and off the screen.

I'm kind of amazed that no matter how many Steam reviews Old Skies receives, it has consistently remained 1% shy of the threshhold for "Overwhelmingly Positive" (95%) for months.

I finished this game by @dave.powerhoof.com last night. It's got pretty much everything I like: monsters, ghosts, sci-fi conspiracies, and a pumpin' synthwave soundtrack. Not sure I'd have much to say in a video but I'd definitely recommend playing it.

I finished this game by @dave.powerhoof.com last night. It's got pretty much everything I like: monsters, ghosts, sci-fi conspiracies, and a pumpin' synthwave soundtrack. Not sure I'd have much to say in a video but I'd definitely recommend playing it.
