my favorite new feature in Xcode which makes me want to run and sing from the hills:

copied code can be placed into a new file with a good filename instantly, thanks to Xcode auto-detecting a good filename for what's in your clipboard!

We can customize window background on macOS in #SwiftUI using containerBackground(), and make it translucent with a material. I wrote a post showing how it works and how to make other adjustments, like removing the toolbar background and title:

Apply a translucent background to macOS windows using SwiftUI APIs, and adjust the toolbar background and title visibility to customize the window's appearance.

Working on the Rabble image viewer again this morning. This time, tweaked it to a new layout and added a small callback to the post you're viewing in the bottom corner. Loving how it looks presenting this beautiful post from @thisiscolossal.com

Rabble, my macOS Bluesky client, is coming along! Aiming for the first TestFlight next week.

My favorite feature is the one you see in the top left — super fast account switching. Supports more than two accounts too, of course

Completely agree. SF Symbols gives every developer the ability to put icons in their apps that aren’t just as good as Apple’s, they *are* Apple’s. In 2015 I would have loved nothing more
i had a nightmare: what if apple never launched SF Symbols? we’d have to design or source every single icon ourselves. honestly, i’m not sure i’d have released any apps without them

Figurative, and Figma, played a big role in what led me to create DetailsPro. Apps like Figurative have a certain amount of time they can stick around, it makes sense, but you're still sad to see them go. Cheers.

Wrote about how important it was to me:

We’re working a stack layout feature for @sketch.com, and while we still have lots to do, here’s a sneak peek from yours truly: youtu.be/wK_OXZxakPQ

Particularly pleased with how we’ve repurposed the existing alignment actions to override cross-axis alignment on items.

Rabble, my macOS Bluesky client, is coming along! I've got my pinned feeds loading, and now I'm working on the basic interactions like media viewing, interacting with posts, and customizing the viewer

Already supports fast user switching! (You can see one account in the top left currently)

Mocking up a macOS Bluesky client. Something with simple macOS conventions. Main features I'm looking for personally are:

- An app I can leave open all day
- Fast always-ready switching between accounts (almost my biggest pain point)
- Offline reading

What would you like to see?

Normally I much prefer apps to have very stock iOS designs, but Queue’s design touches are so ingenious throughout that it doesn’t matter how many elements are not platform-matching in their interactions
