First time using AI Mode in Australia. Straight away feeds me incorrect information. And so the misinformation of the internet continues.

Just a friendly reminder to Google your personal phone number as mine showed up on a creepy website showing addresses and phone numbers of Australians.
Not going to link to it as it's such a privacy risk.

AI is everywhere, and even a part of Google Search, but Australians will miss out on the agentic "AI Mode" of Google, at least for a little bit longer.

So does anyone in the Aus SEO community know why AI Mode isn't being rolled out to Australia yet? My guess is our general legislation restrictions but haven't found any substantial information yet.

Is this new? Tool tip in a featured snippet?
Also, in Aus Finance SERPs I'm seeing an increase of featured snippets - which I'm quite happy about.

I'm on my way to the gym and can check this later but in the meantime ... A blend should do it. The first table is your metric without a breakdown and the second table is your metric with a breakdown. Blend and then make a calculated field of sum(breakdown metric)/sum(total metric). I'll confirm!

A mate was at trivia the other night. The question was
"What does the O in SEO stand for? "
Then he said,
"Anyone who knows the answer is insufferable to talk to."

AI tends to not make many mistakes. I find in writing, misspelling a word, starting a sentence without a capital letter, helps. Not sure how to do that on the phone. haha

In the past two weeks, I've had 2 customers on my ecommerce site want to check that I'm not AI.

1 person asked for a phone number - then didn't even want to ring. Just wanted confirmation I existed.

Another through email asking, which made me wonder how I can prove I'm real. 😂
