Just got around to starting Hades. Not recommended as a game to play while you've got a migraine, but absolutely recommended otherwise.

And I can't take meds because I need my liver "clean" for blood work tomorrow. My ALT level was about double the average, the week before my surgery. Gotta talk to my Hausarzt about that.

One arm is still healing from having been broken at the shoulder this summer. The other has a tube surgically installed in (and sticking out of) the forearm. In all, I have net 1 fully functional arm. This is not very helpful. Luckily, I can play video games and crochet, still.

I legit did this. My mom came to visit after ~5 months on T and I'd recently had top surgery. She said "are you okay, baby? Your voice is a little hoarse."
I'm like "mom. I have no tiddies. I'm trans masc."
She was like 😱 "Wow! Okay!" Asked when I knew, when I started, etc. then hugged me.

3 weeks post op and my junk has decided it needs to bleed again. Not a cute look. I guess we're in full on infection watch, multiple dressing changes a day again. 🙄

Just your periodic reminder that if you've ever struggled with diet culture and/or disordered eating, you should give Maintenance Phase a listen, starting from their oldest episodes. It's helped me (who has struggled with both of the above) immensely... So worth a try.

My latest batch of kombucha SLAPS. Very lightly sweet, tiny, crisp bubbles, tart from the hibiscus I brewed it with.
