I am still on Facebook, as there are friends there not on here.
But this answer from FB Purity tells a lot of why I love that program, and prefer to use my desktop where I _can use_ it to cut down on the nonsense.

I like the Rose Parade more than any other, and always try to watch it. They at least focus on the parade - the horses and the marching bands, more than 'commentary'. Even if I had to get on Roku, and watch it on a sports channel today!
