I’ve blocked most politics whenever I can. After the election, I just couldn’t handle the anxiety anymore, knowing what was coming. The next four years are going to be among the worst that anyone alive has ever lived and my mental state can’t be bombarded nonstop with the constant reminder.

Spending a couple of days working from Denver while my kid does some really cool stuff at a museum here. They’re measuring various parts of a triceratops spine as a part of a research project.

It strikes me that we’re all going to need to be more outspoken about disinformation in the coming years. So many have ignored it if it doesn’t affect them directly.
We have to be direct and public about it so tiny lies don’t evolve into civilization-changing conspiracy theories.

I got to tour two local manufacturing businesses today. Incredible operations and attention to efficiency. In both cases, as I toured with the respective CEOs, it was clear that there is sincere mutual respect between each of them as their respective teams. I don’t always see that; refreshing.

It's really disheartening when I see most (or sometimes all) of these things still taking place in modern work cultures. We all know that they are wrecking balls, but so, so many people still allow these behaviors to exist in their organizations.
