Seeing people chirp floor crossing. I have no issues w/ it! As we’ve seen in the past, sometimes the party leaves the MP/MLA long before the MP/MLA leaves the party. The Fed Libs may pick up some PC’s as Cons go farther right. NDP may pick up Libs as it goes more center. They voted with their feet!

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the Government - or, indeed, any MP keeps its official account on Musk’s X

Or, indeed, any patriotic person.

This is him today: Stirring up civil war in the U.K.

Nothing more British than telling fascists, racists & rotters to fuck right off
X is a cesspit led by an unhinged billionaire who is desperately trying to stir up civil war in Britain.

Nobody with any sense or decency should be there.

No organisations, government departments, or politicians should be there.

Everyone who is, is enabling this monster.

I’ve seen a lot of firsts in my life. But I’ll be god-damned if tonight isn’t among the wildest, my generation just witnessed the first grand slam ever in a World Series!

Hanwell Holiday Decorators! 🎃
If you’ve decorated your home in Hanwell, share your name so I can make a list! 🎃
You don’t have to be “those people” but lots of families love touring displays.
When it was just my wife, daughter & me in NB, those tours made our holidays. We now return the favour.

I’m increasingly frustrated with governments that, even when they know right from wrong, still choose to protect elites & law firms over taxpayers. For the first time I’m hearing the NBP’s stance, and I may need to re-examine the Greens too. Failure to uphold ethics/truth is what kills me. #NBPoli

We are power hogs in our house. 5 adults, airconditioning etc. Here is a look at our power with Solar. R1 is sent back to grid total from the Meter. You will note, this is just power used from NB power & Power sent to NB power to use later (R1). It doesn't include power used from solar directly.

A fraud at taxpayer expense was committed in Hanwell. Covered up by staff & leadership so a councillor could negotiate his own solar system. When I pushed for accountability, sham Codes of Conduct were weaponized against me to block access to info. Sole sourced Costing $60k more to taxpayers #nbpoli

This should be mandatory Canada wide at every municipality.

It's becoming more common to read stories about municipal councillors & mayors abusing their offices through ignorance or willful abuse - rather than standing for civic duty.

Honestly I cannot educated speak to the postal service and what it does in Communities. Taking that for what it is worth, Seinfeld had a great line I loved.

The failure of Sunbury-York Council lies squarely with the Holt Govt. In Apr 2025, the Local Gov’t Minister called suspensions “democracy.” It couldn’t be farther from reality. In Nov 2023 The Ombud said no authority. Holt & Cabinet knew, and did nothing. Full stop. It’s a failure of leadership.

The view from the office today.
Lucky is a state of mind, but I’ll admit this one doesn’t hurt. 🍹🌴

Cheers to everyone holding things down back home. I am needing that hat more these days now that I’m balding. 😅

In Mexico. They have a jalapeño slicer, Everyone was using it, except us freckled people. Also note the sign says no dogs or cats. But the Ketchup dispenser says ‘Sup’ Cats. Pick a lane Mexico. (Side note. Looking for the the Gulf of Merica, no one here knows where it is. )

Wait… it happened twice this week? I’m not sure which hashtag to use. #Bridgegate. #Truckgate #Tailgate #Tollgate

I do feel for these drivers. Should there be a sample beam a bit earlier that triggers a stop?

So true. If you see change needs to be done, or something needs to be done, get involved, encourage and help. 1 person can make a difference.

No one stands up for truth anymore, not locally, provincially, or in corporate media. When injustice, fraud prevails, those in power are obligated to investigate, take corrective actions. To fail to do so, is to encourage it, condone it. Effectively stating its how they want their Gov to run. 1/2

I need to focus on Canada today. So what do you think the odds of Canada lifting the Tarrifs on Chinese EV's like BYD?
I give it:

20–30% in 6 months,
40–50% in a year,
60–70% within 2–3 years.

Politics, trade, and EV adoption targets will decide, but unless Canada gets in the EV Game. My odds

Like many of us, sometimes we have to find the good. Life can be tough, really kick us. Even for those who on the surface seem strong, collected. Life can be a real kick in the gonads.

But if I may, every 5 years Ted Lasso should get awards. It doesn’t feed the stomach but it sure does the soul.

This is a story of a Dad, who lives with a house full of girls, whom prefer air conditioning to the coolness of the outdoors.
