I play video games, draw, and love my wife
The Prince fucks off for reasons unknown, the Underking is like, oh god, I no longer have an Ace in the Hole. The Water Baron is like, hell yeah, I don't have anyone who can tell me what to do anymore. And the Flame Popess was just already crazy and was only being held back by the three of them

Take him. I have to stop.

The Prince of the Aether! Despite being designated a prince, he is fully integrated into the society over which he presides, unlike the other three elemental beasts. This is because he himself is half human. Accordingly, he also has a human name: Aquila!

And there you have it. I started working on these guys when I was a teenager and here they are, finally all together. What should I call them? Lords? Beasts? Dragons, even? I still haven't decided.

Went to search "vampire teeth" to get some ideas on how people draw that sort of anatomy and it autofilled to "vampire shrimp." Not what I was looking for, but, also... sort of

Aquila is an artist and cultivates a culture of expression. The emblem on his belt is fused glass, and the blade in his sword is glass, too. The Faberge Egg he's holding there was designed by his fiancée Andromeda.

Shirtless Underking getting 10 likes makes me smile, if he'd had the Internet crowd during that 300 years of solitude maybe he wouldn't have been so lonely. What is that post that's like "I just imagined a creature that would scare you soooo bad"/"And what's the genitals situation on said creature"

Now I just gotta redraw Alexis again (her design is not changing, although at some point she does get an outfit upgrade, but that's not replacing her original design). And then there is one more person that I don't believe I've mentioned at all thus far... Mysterious.

Their boss titles include some clues on what their respective boss forms will be like, or where their stories go to make boss creatures with such titles. What makes her a "molten legion?" What the fuck is going on with the Water Baron? You'll find out!

I think "Elemental Lords" is the best descriptor, especially since three out of four have some sort of title of nobility attached to them. The Flame Popess is different, and I think she would call them all "beasts" (herself included) because she's insecure about her own lacking monstrousness

And a fun Water Baron design fact: I realized I wasn't going to get the silhouette I wanted from his hat from the back because I made the silhouette on the front too specific, so I gave him a weird hat so I can draw it like that anyway.

Another fun thing I love about my Underking is that his normal eye gives him slightly more restrained expressions, but his left eye is extremely expressive and betrays his every emotion whether he wants to or not. That's why she gets his most emotive and authentic self from carting it around.

I guess my "bathing" drawings are also for showing off their weird monster teeth. That appears to be the connecting thread between the two I've done so far. Okay, sure.

Because he's an immortal monster/demigod, the Underking doesn't have to do things like eat or sleep. One thing Alexis tries to impart is that just because you don't have to do something to survive doesn't mean you can't do it because it's fun and it's nice to take care of yourself.

Thank you everyone for enduring my massive wave of art. I have a lot of drawing energy I gotta express after months of not doing any at all.

The Prince is based on a swallow, both the bird and the butterfly.

Aquila's the only one with a real human name, although the Underking does pull out the name Orion in an attempt to disguise his actual identity. This lasts very briefly but Alexis brings it up every once in a while. The other two don't have human names.

Astute observers will notice that the four of them make up a CYMK color scheme. The reason for this is, I accidentally did yellow, pink, and black completely incidentally and didn't have a color picked out for the Prince, so he got light blue. Like the sky!

I actually have illustrated song comics planned out for three different songs for these guys but one of them is like 23 pages long for a 5 minute song so that's a pipe fucking dream. The others are just for a few lines and are accessible.
