I watched The Substance. I loved it. Once was enough.

Ah, yes, the most underrated part of Thanksgiving: the school-aged/day-care-aged children unleashing germ warfare on the rest of the family.

Please excuse me as I am currently passing away from malady.

An underrated and reliable square on Montgomery family Thanksgiving bingo is someone saying, "The first slice is always the hardest to get out!" when serving pie.

Advisor: "Sir, your approval ratings are in the tank. We should really throw the American people a bone. Perhaps we could lower their taxes or start regulating prescription drug costs--"

This was absolutely the best part of Wicked: For Good, and, if I'm honest, it's one of the only things I'd look forward to on a re-watch.

Carrie-Anne Moss's "Trinity" is the hottest movie character of all time, and there is no debating this.

Not for nothing, but when the President says, "That's okay, I don't mind" to being called a fascists, I think you've got trouble my friends, right here in River City.

Well, I did not like Wicked: For Good. Act 2 of the play is a mess, and the movie is no different. It tries so hard to tie everything into the Wizard of Oz that it gives up so much of its own story and themes in favor of unsatisfying, fanservice-y conclusions and "A-ha!" moments. More below:

Pluribus is really good. Great to see Vince Gilligan, Rhea Seehorn, and Albuquerque all working together again.

This is the most important thing to happen to Pokemon since Mega Evolution, maybe ever.

I love him.

The Wicked special on Peacock is one of the most insane things humanity has ever committed to film.

I'm only 46 minutes in, but this is already a 10/10 on the Big Gay Disaster scale; unprecedented levels of camp. Neither Ariana Grande nor Cynthia Erivo rehearsed this more than twice.

Also the Republicans: *fighting in court to get out of paying SNAP benefits*

Do people really not see this?

It's been nearly 20 years since I first watched the show (fracking hell), but almost no scene in any movie or TV series makes me cry like this one. One of many reasons BSG 2004 remains a GOAT sci-fi series for me.

Unless you developed a pill that cures all cancer, or made another breakthrough of similar universal significance, you don't need a $1 trillion compensation package.

I try not to put too much faith in elected officials, especially after Fetterman turned out to be a giant turd, but Zohran Mamdani seems like the real deal. I'm very happy for the people of NYC, and I wish him the absolute best.

Seasons 2 and 3 of The Office are basically perfect. Crazy how far off the tracks this show wound up going.

Colorado passed a measure to increase taxes on the wealthy to fund meals in schools. Honestly, giga chad move from the voters in Colorado. More of this.

Mamdani winning was expected, and still great, but the big wins tonight are for the people of NJ and Virginia, who sent MAGA packing. It's nice to be a little optimistic.

"They Live" is a movie with basically an infinite ceiling for me. Every time I watch it, I fall more deeply in love with it. Roddy Piper and Keith David give two of the best performances in any John Carpenter movie. Fantastic concept and brilliant execution from production.

Jurassic World: Rebirth

"We're going on a secret mission that's illegal in literally every country in the world."

*10 minutes later*

"We're picking up this family whose boat sank and bringing them with us."

Did AI write this movie? Good Lord...
