I amongst all that I made French Onion Soup.
My closest sib and their spouse are here, and we haven't seen each other for a decade. Might be the best harvest feast ever.

I cannot even express how utterly terrifying the gleeful evil of the ICE troops stopping cars and pulling screaming people out is.
I experienced that kind of thing once as a tiny child on a bus and it haunts me. Memory of guns and the dull sounds of violence that still rings in my head 50 years on.
