We constantly mix up why, what and how when criticising Ofsted. The big listen addressed some of this. There are still big questions about how the inspectorate and regulator connect. The @cstvoice.bsky.social and @leoracruddas.bsky.social are the most sensible and intelligent voice on this.

More than the single word judgment going, I am delighted for Headteachers everywhere that ‘the call’ can now only be on one day. Tuesday would have been better, but 1 day not 3 is still a game changer. Imagine actually being able to say with greater certainty what you’ll be doing Tuesday to Friday!

Moving to this platform and leaving being lots of ‘followers’ has made me think a lot about why and what we post. I thought post pandemic there’d be a period of inflection and the world would become a better place. Post summer 2024 I’m thinking that again. The To Be list as always starts with me.

And as if by magic. Consideration of implementation. Such refreshing transparency and realism of where the sector is at.

Well done @fstewarthistory.bsky.social; critical thinker, knowledgable, kind and importantly, a front-line teacher in a great inner city school. I’m excited and optimistic about this review. I just hope along with the why and what, there’s consideration of the plan for implementation.
