Since 2023, I've been #copyediting manuscripts for Brooke Warner's presses. I've gotten to know her as a #publisher, one whom I greatly respect, but I don't know her outside of that role. This post taught me a lot about who she is as a human being. It turns out that we have a lot in common.

One of the best things about being a #freelance #editor and #resumewriter is that I don’t have to sit at a desk for eight hours a day in an office with a controlling boss dictating what I do and with whom I work. Instead, I get to go outside and take walks when the weather is gorgeous. (1/4)

Writing your own #resume is hard—I know because mine isn’t great. Like most people, I have trouble seeing the big picture. It’s awkward to brag about my achievements, it’s difficult to explain how my work has made an impact, and it’s challenging to condense my experience.
