My friend @harshawalia.bsky.social was arrested and charged, and another protester was brutalized today in Vancouver at a protest targeting Apple for profiting from death and exploitation in its supply chain. The protesters also called out Apple's support of Friends of the IDF.

Not to mention the neoliberal capitalism the west spread through neocolonialism and colonialism
I know it's more reassuring to believe that people in other countries spread racism in the west but the truth is they just found ways to profit off the racism that was already there

As the climate emergency begins to bite a few world leaders meet with a lot of fossil fuel lobbyists and can't even agree that fossil fuels are a problem. Truly frightening. We need radical action not weak willed leaders scared to stand up to the rich and powerful.

Nearly 200 countries attended COP30, which aimed to commit the world to take more action on climate change.

Ok good to see people are still angered about CSA but both parties are ok throwing kids in the prison system and subject them to state sanctioned abuse and violence?

Not to be negative but this is apocalyptic
Ahead of midterms, climate policy has become a wedge issue splitting Democrats. After last week's electoral victories, some Democrats will only talk about expanding clean energy through lens of affordability. Others believe talking about climate change will win voters. www.eenews.net/articles/ret...
Retreat or recast? Democrats debate future of climate politics.
Democratic election wins last week reignited arguments on how — or if — candidates should discuss climate change on the campaign trail.

I know it’s Seattle so not as newsworthy but a pro BDS socialist candidate on the verge of victory in the Seattle mayor race is another clear sign that public opinion on the Israel apartheid regime has shifted drastically thanks to a people powered movement www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

The thing I hate the most about the online discourse around Zohran is Australians claiming ’oh America is so right wing he would just be considered a centrist here’

Are we living in difference universes? Pull your head out of Labor’s arse and look at who they are serving.

I have seen too many private recycling service providers scaling back in recent couple of years because they cannot afford to.

Capitalism will NOT solve our waste problem. There must be major public funding into circular economy instead of the billions we continue to give to fossil fuel barons

Nowadays I cannot watch a single YouTube short essay without encountering at least a gambling ad.

Albo and the Labor government’s unwillingness and incompetence to reign in gambling industry is an open assault on the working class, make no mistake. They simply cannot care about our lives less.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.
