i'm getting mass DNC texts about how congress has to block funding for ICE now. granted they're saying "reform" instead of "abolish" so they're still not going far enough, but i wasn't getting texts acknowledging ICE as a problem *at all* before. this feels like the start of a paradigm shift

Today's VHS was one of the Turtles tapes; Robotkriget (The Robot Wars). This was the tape Kiki had as a kid. An excellent episode selection! Has the one with the future cowboy robot and the furry awakening where April transforms into a cat. Alicia saw it and was like "wow, this explains a lot..."

i've noticed a sharp uptick in the number of basketball hoops at the ends of peoples' driveways on our street this january. it's like the other kids got jealous of the one house in the neighborhood that had one and asked for their own for christmas
