Hello! For those who don’t know me yet - I’m a printmaker and a painter. I love the fun challenge of painting out in remote places! Here, the snow was so deep that I had to paint on skis - I tried taking them off and sank waist-deep. Back on they went!

Lately I’ve been really drawn to making these acrylic paintings on dark watercolour paper.
This was a special moment waking up at a campsite near Nordegg. That time of year when the sun seems to get up later and later each day.

I biked across town to paint, then panicked about an approaching storm and biked home. But at least I made this backyard painting of the clouds. I love this SMLT brown paper so much, colours pop on it!

My friends HATE this print! “It looks like grandma’s embroidery.”
Joke’s on them. Grandmas are cool. I made this design one icy winter day. I walked into a flower shop and my heart filled at the sight of the bright blooms and earthy smell. Finished painting the edition of 25 this morning.
