That sounds amazing! I kind of think the crunchy artifacts just add to it :)

If you have a YouTube channel, I am begging you to turn off the auto-dubbing option for your vids once and for all from your settings.

Your viewers don't have the option to turn that off for all videos they see. They have to do that for every damn auto-dubbed video every time it starts playing.

The latest Youtube feature is automatic AI dubbing, which was applied without me asking for it on a music video, meaning the default experience is an AI voice talking over an electric piano recording. I'm honestly blown away that they thought turning this on by default was a good idea.

This is such an inspired idea!

The end of Act 2 is far enough for me. In Hollow Knight, it took me 32 hours to reach the good ending (defeating Radiance). Compare that with Silksong, where it took me 49 hours just to get to the most basic ending! It's a hefty game!

What a world, what an experience.
One of the ending screens for Hollow Knight: Silksong. Text reads:
"Through the darkness and dangers, you persevered.
Thank you for exploring the world of Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Let's meet again on the road ahead.

Silksong, Hades II, the Switch 2, Blue Prince, Clair Obscur...2025 is one of those BIG years for game releases! Definitely going in the pantheon with 2017, 2007, and 1998!

I see why the Cogwork Dancers are a fan favourite💃⚙️

By the way, apologies to anyone waiting on the results of #SoundoleChillOut2025. Like so many projects, it has been delayed by the launch of Silksong😅

🦨whether or not Silksong is a good game is proportional to if we're doing good or bad in the game. we've created this graph to demonstrate it

currently silksong is a very bad game. tomorrow it may be peak again
a graph. on the left is "the game's quality" with the top being "bad" and the bottom being "good." at the bottom, "how we're doing in the game" with the left being "well" and the right being "poorly". a straight red diagonal line demonstrates that, as we're doing well, the game is good. however, if we're doing poorly, the game is bad

It's incomparably more difficult than Hollow Knight, right? I don't remember struggling with HK until the very late game, but some of the early bosses in Silksong have taken many, many attempts from me.

I'm racking my brain to think of a game with a sexy frog mermaid that you could be analysing...🤔

I totally agree; the 1v1 battles let me go into a flow state of catching tells and responding appropriately. Then damage sponge mobs are introduced, and I'm just panicking and spamming traps!

(And I'm not anywhere near the bosses everyone is complaining about yet😅)

Silksong's difficulty is tempered by its interconnected world—my progress has rarely been gated by just one awful boss encounter. I still don't love the runbacks, but it's nice to take a break from gitting gud sometimes to explore more of the fascinating world.

Such a satisfying swing and particle effects!

My journey in Silksong has only just begun, but my god, the world feels so alive! 7 years well spent.

Whenever I have to do some bass clarinet work, I try to record an etude or two as a send off! Almost all of the Weissenborn bassoon studies sit quite nicely on bass clarinet; this is Op. 8, Book II, No. 11.

I picked up a new bass clarinet mouthpiece this week!🎶

The Selmer Concept is similar in a lot of ways to my old one (Selmer F), but it lets me maintain a more focused sound when it's pushed—something this little excerpt hopefully demonstrates!

Wonderful, you definitely nailed the sense of flow!

It sure would be a shame if that survey was available to anyone who wants to share their thoughts on the matter…

I don't know if it's being sent at random, but I got an email survey from Patreon. And I never miss an opportunity to yell.

It's all about AI.

They very much want to use AI.
They very much want to use your art to train AI.
They could not broadcast more clearly how much they want a piece of that AI
