A wood-fired tea bowl with “butter-mint” glaze from this past summer. Very pleased with the twisted form, undulating rim, and of course the glaze and ash results.

I’ve been carving and faceting my surfaces for years and have recently been working with a twisting method. Still learning, but quite happy with this yunomi-style cup and the iron oxide wash. #pottery #twistedpottery #stoneware

My handmade kitchen display shelf - about half of these cups and mugs were made by me, the others from fellow potters. So many that I rotate what’s shown now and then, and have since expanded this with hooks on the bottom and sides. Always making and buying/trading more!
