One of those actors you don't often think of, but when they show up on screen, you're like "Oh cool this guy!". RIP good sir @sandwichfest.bsky.social

@sandwichfest.bsky.social I remember receiving consoles with cockroaches as trade-ins when I worked at EB Games 🤢. We also received a lot of trades that were saturated with cigarette smoke/tar residue.

Happy #HobbitDay to all!

On 22 September: Bilbo and Frodo Baggins were born. As Ring-bearers, born 78 years apart, their birthdays were honoured as Cormarë, and Tolkien societies worldwide continue to commemorate. How will you celebrate? #Tolkien #BookSky

I know I'm going to like this film, but I'm worried it won't land with general audiences. Anyone who's read Dune Messiah knows the tone of the story is WAY different than the first book and will be jarring for people looking for a "The Continued Adventures of Paul Atreides" type story.
Dune: Part Three (2026), directed by Denis Villeneuve; written by Denis Villeneuve, Jon Spaihts, based on the novel Dune: Messiah by Frank Herbert—production has started boxd.it/ImWe
Dune: Part Three (2026)
The third installment in the Dune franchise, based on the second novel in the series, Dune: Messiah. Details TBA.

To those surprised that Lindsey Graham, a Baptist, would make fun of the Catholic faith, let me be clear: southern evangelicals don't see Catholics as Christian unless it's politically advantageous for them.

This is why I encourage you to participate in the peaceful demonstrations planned for today across America. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/april-5-hands-off-our-healthcare
