Thanks to our Saturday morning litter pickers - with a special thanks to Sue and Louisa who picked the small, and less accessible, detritus in Radnor Gardens ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

It’s litter pick time again in Strawberry Hill. Meet at 9am on Saturday Wellesley Parade. All equipment provided. We’re a bit short of our usual volunteers this month and we’re hoping to pick Radnor Gardens before the Remembrance event on Sunday. Can you spare an hour to help?

Just refreshed the SHRA noticeboard at Strawberry Hill station. It now advertises: litter pick dates, Carols in the Village on 5 December, our new website; our local history book and a list of Committee members and current vacancies. Please take a look when you are passing.

A lovely day for the opening of Parsnips in the Park. The cafe is open daily 9am- 5pm. SHRA wishes Ben, the owner, and his team Matt, Iris and Kai, good fortune in making a success of the cafe. It is an important amenity for Strawberry Hill residents and we look forward to supporting them.

Have you got your tickets? It’s going to be very hot on Sunday but there’s plenty of shade under the trees in the beautiful gardens at Strawberry Hill House.

Thanks to litter pickers today who turned up to help keep the Village litter free. In particular thanks to Tim of Hollies Close who collected the litter pickers, rings and bags while Louisa is on a break.
