Cruelty is the point. They don’t care if people die, even children. It is a form of eugenics. The survival of the fittest only. Then it will be who can survive measles, polio, etc. once they are done bashing vaccines.

Oh, my American in-laws voted, just very poorly. They were willing to overlook his blatant racism, misogyny, homophobia, ableism, etc. because they seriously believed that he could bring down the deficit and bring manufacturing jobs back to the country. Oops. 🙄

What’s even more troubling are the many people who are silently waiting to see what happens rather than speaking out against this - my own American in-laws included. I thought they were respectable, but now I find them to be disappointingly cowardly and choosing to focus on superficial pursuits.

I think we have to separate the death of Charlie from the life of Charlie when talking to people. The death of Charlie was horrific and should never have happened. The life of Charlie was filled with him spewing hatred, division, racism, and misogyny. His murder does not suddenly make him a saint. 🙁

I’m not American, just observing the shit show from across the border. I’ve tried sounding the alarm, by talking to my American friends and relatives, but the house is on fire and they are all still fast asleep inside. Not much more I can do. 😞

I think that many MAGA have very little insight into their own radicalization, cruelty, and divisiveness. They believe that they are following Jesus, but their beliefs are so far removed from what he actually taught.
