Bit of a shot in the dark as I've not got a lot of followers and most aren't local, and those who are may not ride motorbikes, but I'll be attending the Ipswich Toy Run on the 14th if anyone else wants to come along.

Since I earn a good wage it'd just go into my savings for the time being. But having it as a safety net would mean that I would retire well before the mandated pension age (67), and would probably do a community volunteer job like wildlife rehab.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

After putting a few hours into Star Trucker I find it weird that the rigs have no toilets. I can only speculate the drivers are just doing like Ricky's dad in Trailer Park Boys and jettisoning piss jugs out the airlock. Which would explain the amount of debris near the shipping lanes.

I've never done Halloween or really watched others do it, but I was working late and saw the kids out this time. Their costumes were all wholesomly simple, even retro. Pirates, ghosts, demons, batmans, princesses, witches, animal onsies. Seems like they all were loving it.

I like seeing Halloween become more of a thing here in Australia. It wasn't when I was a kid, so I never got to do trick or treating or costume parties or anything. People used to complain about it being "too American".
