I look forward to common sense revealing how much these “public servants” enriched themselves and their dark money partners with funds meant to go to the cities they literally destroyed.

But it’s truly on the people to say enough is enough and truly demand accountability and retribution in return.

Our cities could be incredible, but public infrastructure is barely being held together by hope and some stranger you don’t know forced to work in an office with no windows.

That is the hijacked system we were duped into voting for while hoping things would get better, but they let it all rot.

this is such a great encapsulation of why this race feels existential even to people outside NYC. Cuomo as the final boss of everything wrong with the current Democratic Party, Mamdani happily grabbing the third rails everyone’s told are too dangerous to touch (trans people, Muslims, socialism)
