He needs massive liquidity to keep pumping his stock. If he doesn’t keep buying through offshore vehicles, the whole thing collapses. His shares are pledged as collateral. Their value has to keep going up.

Yes, they’re hypocrites. But GOP in all of those states would love to have a militarized presence in their own “undesirable” neighborhoods. They are chomping at the bit to make that possible. This effort in DC just paves the way for them.
The restaurant was bought out by the Brennan’s restaurant group a couple of years ago but the Brennan family runs good restaurants. All of their spots in the Quarter are solid and not traps.

This is such a slippery slope. Everyone says “ they aren’t playing 3D chess” but what happens when they have masked paramilitary squads with no ID and answerable to no one? And there is precedence for hiding the identities of federal police? The public interest is ambiguous here.
