To be honest, its a relief to see this government doing something that isn't batshit insane and/or totally fucking evil.
As political scandals go, a grubby backroom deal to, errrr, lift 450,000 children out of poverty is at least a novel one.

At the risk of making myself very unpopular... the budget isn't totally shit. Quite a lot of it actually makes sense.
