Just retired.😎 Proud husband to an incredible teacher🙋‍♀️ Supporter of public education and healthcare. Shamefaced Albertan.🤬 Deeply loath Smith/UCP and PoiLIEvre/Cons 😖 Full of chagrin over the state of whatever that is to the south of us. 😠 Elbows up! 🇨🇦📎🏍️🏈
Infuriating! Smith’s UCP should have never touched the pension plan in first place! The Smith con’s destroy everything they touch in Alberta and they touch and corrupt every freaking thing they can. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Agree

Imagine, if you will, Alberta's reaction were the feds to strike a deal with BC about, say, shipping ammonia by rail though Alberta without proactively including Alberta in the discussion prior to announce the deal

Just...imagine
its absolutely unfucking believable to sign an MOU about what will be done in another province without even inviting the province to the table

The X platform now has a new tool that promotes scrutiny about the origin of X accounts.

I've noticed lately that more trolls are invading Bsky. This same feature that X has so members can check an account's country of origin would be super helpful to weed out the bad guys from causing harm here.

Perhaps after the ass is gone, and all of his bullsh*t is reversed, Canadians will care to visit again. Until then.., no thanks.

Trump never had a fan base.

He had an army of bots who sold his racism and misogyny and xenophobia to uneducated Americans who took voting advice from bald eagle profiles posting Tweets from Eastern Europe.

It’s as stupid as it sounds.

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.
