Ken Paxton asking for privacy in his personal life is just comical given his entire career is a crusade on women and pregnant people's privacy, using his office to stalk, harass & terrorize abortion patients, doctors, & the people who help them. He deserves as much privacy as he's given all of them

Telling working people who are fighting to save health care and food assistance for MILLIONS that everyone is going to die anyway is mind boggling.
Congress should be working to expand essential services like Medicaid and SNAP, not gut them like the House’s budget would do.

I don't get why people say "ooh, *you're* easily pleased" with such derision. Being easily pleased is brilliant. Something pleasing always just round the corner. Something I quite like is on the telly? Incredible stuff. Chippy for tea? I may as well have bought a chalet in heaven.

The biggest endorsement I can make for Bluesky is that replacing Twitter with this app on my phone probably improved my general mood when I’m on my phone by 20-25%. I know there are better reasons but it is what it is!
