The Mega CD version of The Terminator is, in my view, the definitive version of the game from Virgin Games. Better music, graphics, gameplay, levels, pretty much everything. If you love the movie, you owe it to yourself to play this game.

Alcatraz is a side scrolling action game from Infogrames and 221b Games. Playing as one of two operatives, you must infiltrate the island prison and take down a notorious drug lord and gun runner. An Amiga game with a great stealth mechanic and an FPS section inside the buildings. Recommended.

Rampage is a conversion of the arcade game from Bally Midway for a range of computers and consoles. It's inspiration comes from the monster movies from the 30s upwards. You take control of one of three characters and must cause as much damage as possible. The Spectrum version is very recommended.

Lethal Weapon is a side scrolling platform shoot-em-up from Ocean Software, with you controlling either Riggs or Murtaugh from the popular film series. The four missions are loosely based on the original trilogy, with puzzles elements thrown in. Watch my full review here:

Umbrella Entertainment in Australia are releasing the cult classic HARDWARE on 4K next year. It comes in 3 flavours: standard, collectors and limited edition with a t-shirt. I've never seen it, but I'm looking forward to it as it's meant to be bloody good.

Renegade was an Imagine Software conversion of the Taito arcade game for the home computers of the time. You have to fight through 5 levels of bone crunching, groin kneeing action in an attempt to get your girlfriend back from a gang who has kidnapped her. Great sound effects and gameplay.

Today's postal arrival, and one one I've been really looking forward to. Had a quick look at the 4K, and it looks stunning, just as it did at the 40th anniversary showing a couple of months ago. Sadly all sold out, so don't if you want one, don't pay scalper prices.
