I have been lukewarm on her candidacy but I do think we need A LOT more Dems in Congress who carry a passionate hatred of ICE in their bones and she probably will.

I wish Sarah would make a distinction between dealing with “the world as it actually is” and dealing with “the faux reality constructed by right wing media” because the two are very different with big policy and political ramifications for how Democrats can win.

I cant imagine an authentic climate denier will be acceptable on a whole host of other issues that require being grounded in reality. dont see that as a great “pick one thing” thought exercise.
tbh I would have a hard time with verbal mockery while the woman is going through what shes going through. feels disrespectful, even demeaning, to her being publicly dehumanized.
I still cant imagine being a heart surgeon where you are richly compensating for wielding godlike powers of life over grateful patients and their families and you throw it away to do……..this.
Whenever I hear Dem electeds expressing outrage I have trained myself to look for the magic words “and therefor I/we will…” and I’m shocked at how seldom I hear anything like it.
It’s like watching the guy at the end of the bar griping except they wear nicer clothes.
Yes these injuries could be debilitating, its enraging.
They all need to be sued or even prosecuted into oblivion. Does not seem like qualified immunity would cover this any more than it covers drunk driving.
