I would like @jamellebouie.net to come and deliver a brief presentation about this exact thing to my family. I make giant batches of beans and rice for my lunches and they hold me for weeks at a time. And yet I get grief for it. Someone needs to convince my family to board the bean train!

Oh the prescient and righteous critiques of the only Black woman on the court “test her colleagues’ patience”? Hmmm gosh, wonder what’s going on there…
The claim that her opinions have tested “her colleagues’ patience” strikes me as a form of what I have called “elite victimization.” The Court’s majority has made a series of radically extremist decisions—taking away a Constitutional right, offering Trump seemingly unlimited immunity etc.

Two concerns Never mentioned:
Palestinians & Trans folx having a right to exist.
I’ll give every one of my spare dollars to the first serious Dem congressional candidate to center these folks in their pitch.
