People on here claim to believe in being fair and kind to members of the LGBTQ community, immigrants, the poor, etc. but can't extend the same grace to Mormons. Not all of us are right-wing nut jobs and it would be nice if people on the left made us feel welcome. This doesn't help

It's only heretical if you count creedal Christians as the only Christians. Mormons believe Christ and God are separate, distinct individuals and only one in purpose. Christ created the Earth at the direction of The Father and, in his pre-earth existence, was the Yahweh of the Old Testament.
