Today’s thought.
This book actually did change my life. I mean, not in a huge way, but it made me reassess what fan fiction was, and what it could be. I’ve had a story published that is based on this, with another on the way. It influences most of what I’ve written since I read it in some way.

On my flight yesterday I swapped seats with a woman across the aisle so she could be with her boyfriend. I was left sitting next to a guy in his 80s who was a spreader and a squirmer. When he tried to sit sideways with his bony arse pushing into me I had to gently but firmly pull the armrest down.
