I've just spent 35 euro (on an Irish ads site) on an absolutely battered 48k ZX Spectrum which is probably as dead as a door nail. The intention is to fix it. No idea who I'm trying to kid, I don't know my arse from my elbow with circuit boards. #zxspectrum #retrorepair #clueless

Don't have Facebook so you few poor souls who might actually read my nonsense get to find out. I made semolina pudding for the first time, and probably 35 years since I last ate it. It's still lovely (providing you add a ton of sugar or jam or syrup).

Clicked on a couple of stories about animals in zoos dying now all Google seems to want to recommend me is dead animal stories. Zoo deaths, wild bird poisonings, shootings, animal neglect deaths, it's all there and it's all feckin grim.

Walked 8 miles wandering around Dublin today, a good museum to check out is the one in Collins Barracks, loads of history about Ireland's battle for independence and what went on before and after. Bad back now tho from standing in one spot for 3 hours at the gig (The Button Factory is a great venue)

If any city or town wants to see how good public transport can be they should have a look at Bordeaux. Trams, Buses, Water taxis, covering well outside the city centre, and an hour's journey will cost you, at most €1.90.
