Yes, "pregnant people" is inclusive language that describes pregnant cis women AS WELL AS trans men and nonbinary people, a lot of whom can get pregnant. But it also describes, like, 12-year-old girls who get pregnant. Do centrist pig-dogs think THEY are "women" too? Coz...bit of a red flag, that.

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

I agree with basically everything Erin says in this thread, but it's also an artifact of who we follow here. I see many more Seattle politics posts than I do New Haven ones, even though New Haven politics affect my day to day life much more.
I think folks complaining “why do we have to keep hearing about the NYC election” are missing the point of what’s happening by a mile.
