Dems always lose in negotiations with republicans because republicans are absolutely fine with letting americans die, knowing full well they will be voted in anyways. Democrats, with their empathy, hear people not getting fed, decide to cross the isle for the vote every time ad nauseum til fascism
democratic voters wanted their party to shut down the government for myriad reasons — troops in american cities, masked thugs ripping families apart — but dem leaders insisted the wise thing to do politically was to stay hyper-fxated on this one thing, ACA tax credits. and then they just… gave up

Unneeded book cover review #2: Fonts are great, the cover art being a photo is cool, the title HEADtoHEAD is misleading and feels like it was titled that cause they had this good photo they really wanted to use. Otherwise, minimalistic and eye catching. Much better than the previous WaPo book cover!
This is literally just a book of scripts from their sketches. This is the kind of thing people bought in the 80s.

Book cover review: They should have called this book Presidential Transcripts: The Nixon Tapes and left all that other crap off the cover because it looks like a pop-up in real life, and I'm afraid that she got a virus touching it. The titling would also allow for a franchise (Presidential Tapes: _)
This caught my eye in a library sale bin. Looked at and thought well this seems like child’s play compared to what’s been going on this year.

I have the likely unbased opinion that funko should have been a limited collectible series, not a mass produced collectathon as eventually, with the market saturated, it becomes untenable for collectors to keep up monetarily, and also they take up all your space after a while. Also, economy fucked!

You can mitigate the need to talk about backseating by adding a bot command to remind chat every 45 minutes or so, it's saved me a morbillion times!

What I’ve learned from this is: sometimes people feel ashamed so they’ll go quiet or dip. I think it’s natural it may take time for them to feel comfortable to engage again when they just got “called out” in front of an entire chat 🧵⬇️

I get 100% more information about the performance you want from a crappy scratch track recorded by Jeff in the back office on his phone, than I get from the eerily dead-sounding stolen voice clone of a colleague.

I won office perks in one of their giveaways and it was a pretty good VN, I rate it gooned out of 10.
Every time I play borderlands 4 on stream, I end up flipping my power strip and it only seems to happen with that game so I guess im just gonna play it on my own, that being said if anyone is playing it and wants company lemme know, stream or not!

While the likes of Rosa Parks and MLK were the most popular and some of the biggest driving forces for change, there was also Malcolm X, a man who preached fighting and not just solving things with decorum and platitudes. We got a lot of MLKs out there doing work, we need some Malcolm X's.
