Here's the deal: If we want to lower costs, then we need to build more of the things we need here at home. That means building more homes, producing clean abundant energy to bring down our utility bills, and getting rid of the tariff taxes that are hurting Michigan manufacturers.

Everyday Michiganders are looking for new leaders and new ideas. That's why I'm running.

I'm an outsider. My experience is in building things in our auto industry, serving in the federal government, and raising a family here.

These tariffs are illegal. Congress, the branch of government elected directly by the people, is the only part of government with the power to create new taxes.

I’m proud to be the only candidate in this race to take the @StopBigMoney pledge to Unrig Washington. It's time to ban Congressional stock trading, call for all candidates to refuse corporate PAC money, and crack down on dark money in our elections. #ecuunrigwashington

I called in yesterday to 1A on NPR to talk about why I'm running for Congress.

These chaotic tariffs are a tax on American consumers and on our auto industry. We need leaders in Congress who will reclaim the power of the purse and who know what it takes to build things.

Our healthcare experience is like that of so many other Michiganders. When Rebecca needed a major procedure, we were lucky that we had insurance. And because the Affordable Care Act protects pre-existing conditions, we were able to rely on it for her recovery.

Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving!

I'm so thankful for those who keep us safe, for our community in Michigan, and for everyone working to build this campaign from the ground up.

Small businesses are critical to our mission of building more of the things we need here in Michigan.

I know what it's like to build things in the private sector. And in Congress, I'll ensure our small business leaders have the resources they need to succeed.

Let's just be clear about it. Costs are out of control, and everyone knows it.

I'm not a politician. I'm an engineer, a builder, and a dad. I know what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck, and I also know what it takes to build things so that we can lower costs.

We must protect the right to free speech: to disagree with our government, to assemble peacefully, and to advocate for a better future.

That right to speak out is core to who we are as Americans and shouldn't be controversial.

President Trump says American workers aren't good enough. I say, he needs to come see our workers here in Michigan.

We can build amazing things here at home, and in order to do that, we need leaders who are on the side of working people.

That's why I'm running for Congress.

And let's be clear: It's OUR Department of Education, and we're going to stand up to protect it.
Our kids and grandkids are counting on us to stand up for public schools.

Governor Whitmer has it right. These tariffs are making life completely unaffordable and decimating our auto industry. At the end of the day, these chaotic tariffs are a tax on Michigan families. We can do better.

We need to do more to create good jobs that allow people to buy a home, raise a family, and live that Michigan Dream.

This election is a healthcare election. When Rebecca needed a heart transplant, we counted on the Affordable Care Act for her recovery.

We all know it: Too many career politicians get rich in office. But how do they do it?
November 12, 2025 at 3:21 PM
It's critical for us to keep our promises to those who have served, and for us to recognize the sacrifice that our veterans and service members make every day to keep us safe.
November 11, 2025 at 6:17 PM
It looks like career politicians are preparing to give in and stop fighting for the healthcare coverage Americans depend on.

We never should’ve been here in the first place. In this country, people should be able to put food on the table, have decent healthcare, and afford life.
