Hey all, I promised an introductory piece and haven't delivered yet.
At this point, I'm not even sure what I can call myself anymore. I translated A LOT of interviews with KyoAni staff members from 2013-2020 and that's helped spread word about the wonderful staff there from a place I love.

昨晩納品したけど２時間以上処理にかかったみたい。納品完了待たずに寝ちゃった。
下描きを整えるところからはMovinkPad Pro 14でやりました。人によると思いますけど、PC＋液タブでやるのと効率もほぼ変わらなかった。

Apologies. My mind went into that mode thinking about what it would take for Synder films/productions to be made in modern era and why any decent executive would be like "uh no" given the market for box office returns.
The article itself is sadly more modern journalism trying for "sides".

The problem that DC and Marvel are encountering is that they both have no idea how to scale down productions to reach a "good" level of effects and cinematography without breaking massive amounts of budget.
You can't have every single production rivaling the OG Avengers and be successful anymore.
