My ADHD thanks you!

I hate changing sheets in daylight just for laundry reasons. I'll be using a bit of embroidery thread to do this to all my sheets, now!

This could be almost as revolutionary as 'Why don't we have a single duvet each, rather than fighting for covers, even with a king-size?'
Thank you. This is something I strongly believe, see evidenced daily but don't think I could convey as clearly and coherently.
It needs saying.
Often.
I figured they'd be the expected shower of incompetence at council level, hoping that, at least, people might observe and learn before the next election.

Reform are exceeding expectations in this respect, but I fear I may have been too optimistic re: their supporters learning...
I don't feel represented, but not due to skin colour.

More because I don't want a house full of tat, stinking of artificial scent, peddled to me by a twee, smiling idiot. 🤷

I ignore most ads. Why can't the racists?
We need to bring back tarring and feathering for slippery fuckers who'd probably be able to evade or deal their way out of convictions if prosecution was possible/attempted.
Utter bastards like this deserve public humiliation.
When it's not murdering my tomatoes, I quite like the randomness of our hilltop weather. 🤷 Guess I'm used to it now.
Always fun watching people stare at the 4 inches of snow on my car roof at the supermarket a couple of miles away, when they've only had rain in town.
Lived in my area for 2 decades, and I can confirm, this is pretty accurate for us, in North Kent, UK.☺️
(Aggravatingly, my house is in a microclimate within that area, so we get the occasional 'random experience' like snow one Easter which killed my 18" tall tomatoes, following a March heatwave...!🙄)
We only do fireworks for abt 30mins, on the first Sat after the 5th each year, but I get why people would want Diwali, New Year, etc.

There should be a national push to set dates and times so people can plan for it. We let the whole village know, well in advance, but you can't do that in a city.
Are you just gherkin them about, to see if they get all sauerkraut about it? How very dilly...
This. I was pretty miffed when asked about learning needs in my assessment. The assessors were, in all other respects, fantastic, but (yes, I know many different co-occurring conditions can exist, I have a few) these are separate conditions and need dx and support in their own right.
Fantastic choice! But damn, now anything I might watch other than this will seem lacking.😂Guess I know what tonight's movie is...
There are rumours he's building a bunker under the ballroom so, I guess he's voluntarily setting the scene...
This!

I have not changed since my mid-40s diagnosis. I just have better words now to describe my previously batshit, weird, wonderful, eccentric, anxious, creative brain and life.

I was always this way.

My family can definitely confirm this...😂
That's not a chair with a hole, that's a cherished heirloom.

I have a cheap, battered blanket box which was my nan's, then my mum's. She made a (long lost) padded top for it and used it to change me on as a baby. Like that box is ever getting thrown! (Painted occasionally, yes. Thrown? Never!)
Curtains are awful to make.
Dye, however, is easy to use...
Also - blackout lining comes in white and looks just like white cotton curtains on one side. And doesn't fray - no hems needed. Cut, attach header tape/hooks, hang.😀
Almost all of our curtains are made this way, now. Crisp, neat, easy AF.
I just bought new, warmer blankets. The old ones are now cushion covers on the sofa, as the old cushions had seen better days. Made an old duvet into curtain liners for winter, too, today.

I always buy a range of colours and textures I like, which get recycled into something else when ADHD says so.
I teach the best teenagers! (I work in Alternative Provision, with kids who have been excluded - or are at risk of it. Lots of SEND...and honesty!😂)

We have also had 'Romeo's a dirty nonce, she's 13!';
and
🤷‍♂️'Who the fuck gives an onion for a Valentine?!'
🙋‍♀️'Someone who ain't getting none tonight.'
I remember, back in the day, if you were a shit-spouting idiot, and you wanted a job, you could cut capers for the lord of the manor, wearing a three-pronged hat.
What's wrong with putting fools in festive, pointy hats?
Let's go back to that.
Of course it's a no.

They admit they didn't audit, because audits are expensive. Great basis for an efficiency drive, to know fuck all before you let people (new to post, with no experience) start meddling with already failing systems.

Kent County Clownshow.
Good.
Property laws and regulations are complex, it's easy to make mistakes - and this is why we tend to use agents.
Interesting how those in govt seem to be increasingly targeted for scrutiny on this (Trumpian mortgage fraud accusation style), and those genuinely abusing loopholes aren't...
