Cozy wine and paint night at home

I have been cleaning and organizing relentlessly for a month to deal with the existential dread caused by the election, but I think it’s reached a new level. Today I went around the house with a magic eraser and cleaned every smudge or scuff on every wall.

Just thinking about the fact that technology let me know about an earthquake hundreds of miles away as it happened and I was able to contact a friend in that area to check on them most likely before the ground stopped shaking (they’re okay!).

Anyone else ever feel like they’re forgetting to do something, only to realize that you dreamt the thing you were meaning to do? And then feel a weird frustration that you don’t need to and in fact can’t check that thing off your to-do list?

The best time to wear a striped sweater (at the Grand Canyon)? All the time!
