I'll never not find it incredible that (esp. the U.S.) we get that people need ≈13 years of schooling to be ready for the world but put zero time into teaching healthy intrapersonal relationships, sexuality & communication & then when problems arise go 'The only solution is banning risqué media'😔

I just finished watching the dynasty warriors movie on netflix... The movie was okay but it made me wanna play the new DW game so bad!!
Also towards the end I realised that the app automatically set the audio as cantonese instead of mandarin. The whole time I was like "This dubbing sounds so weird"

Late night/early morning musings but: I've always been very uncomfortable with the fandom penchant for treating popular fancreators as celebrities. bnf culture is, at it's heart, incongruous with fandom despite fandom being what created them in the first place. No fan is any better or any less 1/

I think it's currently more sustainable for fandom artists online (who don't make a living off of their art/community) to just drop art and ignore fandom as a whole.
