Quick update—we just got to $995 thanks to a gracious donor. $5 more (or more) and that puts us at 25% and gets us Metroid Dread. Truly grateful, honestly, this was a great surprise to see today. Thank you, everyone.
I've got an opportunity lined up that should keep me solvent once it starts, but it won't be until about mid-late January, and I'm essentially at the last of my savings now. The $4000 I'm asking for here (ko-fi.com/sjhdoesgames) should be enough to keep me covered until that time. (2/3)

OK, coming back around to this now.
We broke 20% when my new mayor got elected yesterday, now at $830 as of this post. Another $170 gets us 25% of the way through in only 3 days AND unlocks Metroid Dread streams.

After my dad died I’d skip class, grades dropped, detentions stacked, etc. I still drew but I didn’t care about anything. The principal called me into her office one day, figured I messed up again, but she just handed me a box of colored pencils and said “happy birthday”. NEVER forgot that.
as a neurodivergent & also weird kid school was hell for me, though these days I struggle to remember the names of all the teachers who bullied me. But the three that treated me like a person have never left me. Now more than ever, I hope you all try your best to stay unsquishable!
