I’m about to start naming and shaming tech recruiters on LinkedIn who contact me with GIS job offers, even though it explicitly says in my profile that I’m not looking for GIS work. 🙃 I get multiple messages a month and I am very sick of the AI scraping/ low reading comp.

I know that many of our corporate overlords would disagree with me, but there is, in fact, difference between having a meaningful day off for restful self care and being out of work because you’re literally passed out after an invasive medical procedure.

•Section 9 forbids suspending The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus

Beautiful piece of antique cartography from an 1895 ed. Charles Gaskell Family & Business Atlas of the World that I picked up at a yard sale 2 summers ago. Stabilized the volume, which is currently sitting in an acid free archival box, pending donation to a map library, as it’s apparently rareish.

Really thrilled to say that as of this week, I am officially a part-time archives coordinator at an R1 university library! My collection deals mainly w. vintage/antique sewing patterns, fashion magazines, & ephemera related to pattern companies. This is a great collection and I’m v excited to start.
