I’ve learned that sending messages through my phone feels so SLOW because of how fast I type on a keyboard—somewhere around 100wpm—and it becomes a huge barrier when replying to people, so I’ve started using my bluetooth keyboard to respond to messages, and it’s been so refreshing.

I’ve started journaling. Sloppily, but it’s been doing much to help me navigate my dwindling mental state by demystifying and naming these feelings; this way they’re not bouncing against the walls inside myself and causing collateral damage therein. It’s nice.

i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”
basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.
